ThedirectionbyBarryShearisgoodandmakesinnovativeuseofsplitscreenphotography.Plus,hekeepseverythingmovingataquickpace.Initsfunnymoments,thefilmworkswell.Initsattemptsatdrama,itshelplesslydatedandjustasfunnyasthehumorousmoments.ChristopherJonesunderplayshisroleandShellyWintersoveracts.HalHolbrookoffersthebestperformanceandDianeVarsiachievestherightnoteofgrooviness.ThescriptbyRobertThomhasitsmoments,especiallytheending(easilythemostingeniouspartofthefilm).WildintheStreetsisn'tperfect,butdeservesrecognitionasaninterestingmisunderstandingofthehallucinationgeneration.Thoseintothiskindofkitschwillenjoyitthemost.I'dratherwatchTheTriporPsych-Outhowever.(610)  -fromimdb
